Karen Whitefield MSP
Thank you for visiting my section of the Scottish Parliament web site. I am proud to have been the constituency MSP for Airdrie and Shotts since 1999, when the Scottish Parliament first opened. This web site gives some information about my activities both in the Parliament and in the constituency.
I have lived in the constituency all of my life. I was born and raised in Shotts and I currently live in Airdrie. I believe that it is important that the Scottish Parliament engages with ordinary men, women and children in Scotland. I will work to ensure that the priorities of my constituents are the priorities of the Scottish Parliament.
This introduction was written by Karen Whitefield MSP and is current as of
May 2007 Karen is a member of the following committees: Convener of the Education, Lifelong Learning and Culture Committee
