17 to 19 May Leonie Ingram Leonie Ingram, Director of Security Planning, Australian Parliament will with various Parliament directors to discuss security and other areas of mutual interests.
9 September Hon Ray Hollis The Honourable Ray Hollis, Speaker of the Queensland Parliament, Australia , visited the Scottish Parliament to discuss information technology advancements regarding parliamentary business (E-petitioning etc). He also attended First Minister's Questions, had a courtesy call with Murray Tosh MSP and lunch with members of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (Scotland Branch).
13 September Hon. John Cowdell MLC and Peter McHugh President of the Legislative Council the Hon. John Cowdell, MLC and Mr Peter McHugh, Clerk of the Legislative Assembly, Parliament of Western Australia met MSPs to discuss procedure, education and the clerking and administrative system. They also had lunch with Paul Grice and members of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (Scotland Branch) and a courtesy call with Trish Godman MSP Deputy Presiding Officer.
15 September Jodeen Carney Shadow Minister for Justice, Northern Territory Legislative Assembly, Jodeen Carney had a lunch meeting with members of the Cross Party Group on Men's Violence Against Women and Children to discuss domestic violence related issues.
22 September Sue McLeod Sue McLeod, Clerk of Committees in the Tasmanian Legislative Council, came on a short term attachment with the Scottish Parliament in order to exchange information regarding the work and procedures of committees

18 April Visit by Mr John Murphy Request from FCO . Assembly Hall and meeting with H&C Committee. To make a comparative study of Australian and British health and aged care policy-making and service delivery.
18 April Visit of Senator Bruce Scott Request from FCO . Observe Question Time & First Minister's Question Time. To meet representatives of the Rural Development Committee. To discuss rural development issues and provision of services in outlying areas.
22 April Visit by Jim Lloyd MP Federal Member for Robertson and Chief Government Whip Request via Scottish Executive from FCO.
23 April Visit by Senator Susan Mackay Direct request from CPA Branch.
14 May Visit by Hon Michael Aird MLC Tour of Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Visitor Centre and lunch with CPA, Executive Committee.
11 to 14 June Visit by Penny Cavanagh, Education Officer, NSW Direct request from the Speaker of the New South Wales Parliament, Australia. The visit is being funded by the Churchill Foundation Australia to specifically look at our Education Unit. Tour of SP and Lunch at Jackson's. Meetings - Webcasting etc.
19 June Visit by Mary Gillett MP, Victoria Parliament Meeting with Members of the Executive Committee and possibly others. She is visiting on a comparative study on the democracies in Scotland and Wales with Westminster
25 June Visit by Barry Steggall MP, Victoria Australia Mr Steggall, Deputy Leader of the National Party, is visiting under the Auspices of the CPA. We intend to set up meetings with the CPA Exec. Comm. And with MSPs interested in genetic food legislation and food safety standards.
