The Presiding Officer will give the Opening Speech at the Annual Meeting of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (German National Academic Foundation) in the Pleasance Theatre, Edinburgh. The German National Academic Foundation enables a small group of highly gifted students from all fields of learning to pursue their studies free from financial need and the aim of the Annual Meeting is to bring together the 150 German scholars who are currently studying in the UK and Ireland. |
