Purpose of the Group
The aims of the Cross-Party Group in the Scottish Parliament on Animal Welfare are: to provide a forum where all shades of opinion can be expressed to MSPs; to raise awareness of the importance of animal welfare; and, where consensus is reached, to make proposals to introduce or amend legislation concerning animals.
