Palliative Care

Purpose of the Group

  • To act as a channel of communication between the Scottish Parliament and people organisations working in palliative care
  • To provide opportunities for Members of the Scottish Parliament to learn about palliative care needs and service and the issues involved in palliative care provision
  • To increase awareness and raise the profile of palliative care
  • To put palliative care on to the agenda of the Health and Sport Committee.
