Gifts:		Member held a Christmas card competition, Christmas 2003. ASDA Dumbarton provided sponsorship of the competition (one-off donation) to the sum of £618.51. Member held a Christmas card competition, Christmas 2004. ASDA Dumbarton provided sponsorship of the competition (one-off donation) to the sum of £600.00 approximately. Member held a Christmas card competition, Christmas 2005. ASDA Dumbarton provided sponsorship of the competition (one-off donation) to the sum of £600.00. In December 2007 I held a Christmas card competition. On 8 January 2008 Asda Dumbarton, a retail store, (of Asda Stores Limited, Asda House, Great Wilson Street, Leeds, LS11 5AD) provided to Enable Scotland a donation of between £501 and £1,000 (specifically £1,000) for the printing and prizes associated with the Christmas Card competition. Overseas Visits:		On 10 and 11 September 2007 I visited Brussels. The trip was a familiarisation visit for members of the European and External Relations Committee organised and paid for by the European Commission. The estimated cost of the flights, meals and accommodation was £456 (Hotel 170euros; Flights 440euros; Dinner 27euros; lunch 25euros) which was met by the European Commission.[Registered 25 September 2007]

Unremunerated Chair of the Prince’s Trust – Dunbartonshire Board, previously registered in March 2003. Unremunerated Honorary Vice-President of Energy Action Scotland, previously registered on 8 August 2006. On 8 February 2008 I received a gift of flowers from the Ben View Resource Centre. This gift has a value of approximately £30. [Registered 14 February 2008] On 21 March 2008 I received a gift of malt whisky and chocolates from a constituent. This gift has a value of approximately £35. [Registered 15 April 2008] On 11 April 2008 I received a gift of a photographic print of Loch Lomond from Duck Bay Hotel. This gift has a value of approximately £40. [Registered 15 April 2008] On 11 April 2008 I received tickets and hospitality for the Glasgow Warriors v Edinburgh Rugby match at Firhill from the Scottish Rugby Union for myself and two guests. This gift has a value of approximately £300. [Registered 15 April 2008] On 3 August 2008 I received two weekend tickets for the ‘Live at Loch Lomond Festival’ and hospitality from West Dunbartonshire Council.
