I visited Blanes (one night), Barcelona (two nights), and Riudecanyes (one night) in Catalunya, Spain between 8 and 11 September 2007. The purpose of my visit was to explain the current political situation in Scotland and any parallels with Catalunya; to work for the furtherance of the Nationalist cause in Catalunya by encouraging co-operation between nationalist parties in the pursuit of Catalan Independence; to help promote the Island of Arran through ‘A Taste of Arran’ and encourage enhanced educational, sporting, cultural, technical and tourist links between Scotland and Catalunya. The total cost of the visit was £500 with my flight out and first three days living expenses met by the Esquerra Party of Catalunya and my fourth day living expenses and return flight met by the Council of Riudecanyes. As of 31 March 2008 I own a flat in Glasgow with a market value of between £200,001 – £250,000. From 1 July 2008, I receive gross annual income of between £5,001 – £10,000 but with a loss of around £5,000 per annum. [Registered 30 October 2009]

Between 8 and 11 September 2007 I received gifts of a Barcelona Football Strip, books on Riudecanyes and the Costa Dorada, a bottle of Olive Oil and a poster commemorating the victory of St Mirren in the tournament to inaugurate the opening of Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium. The total value of these gifts is approximately £60. [Registered 13 September 2007]
On 1 July 2009 I received a bottle of Glenfiddich single malt whisky from the Save Your Regional Park campaign following a speech I made to the Annual General Meeting of that organisation. I estimate the value of the whisky to be approximately £35. [Registered 2 July 2009]
