Marlyn Glen MSP
Marlyn Glen MSP Marlyn Glen has been an MSP since 2003. She had been a secondary school teacher since 1974 and had worked in Liverpool and Ayrshire before returning to her hometown of Dundee in the early 1990s. She was the Principal Teacher of Support for Learning at Baldragon Academy.

Marlyn has been a lifelong member of the Labour Party and an active trade unionist. She was a councillor on Dundee District Council and President of the EIS Dundee Local Association. She is passionate about nuclear disarmament, social justice and environmental matters.

Marlyn has given a great deal of her time to the Labour Party and has been on the Executive Committee, the Scottish Women's Committee and the Scottish Policy Forum. She is aware that good government requires commitment and dedication and is pleased to be part of the Scottish Parliament.
