I gave a presentation on 27 August 2004 to pharmacists and pharmacy assistants on a debate on smoking in public places as part of a Greater Glasgow Health Board conference on smoking cessation. The conference sponsors, Pfizer Ltd, Walton Oaks, Dorking Road, Tadworth, Surrey, offered a fee which the Member requested was given directly to Macmillan Cancer Relief Scotland. Pfizer Ltd then gave £500 directly to the charity.

Unremunerated Director of Fairshare Voting Reform Limited which is a cross-party organisation campaigning for the introduction of the Single Transferable Vote (STV) system of proportional representation for Scottish elections.

Patron of Paisley District National Osteoporosis Society Support Group (unremunerated).

Honorary Vice President of The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (unremunerated).

The Fire Brigades Union donated £500 to my election campaign, however, this was less than 25% of my total election expenses.

I own a debenture at Murrayfield Stadium which I bought when they were originally offered when the stadium was being substantially rebuilt.
