I own ordinary shares in HBOS plc, a clearing bank. These shares have a market value of £440,000. As of 4 April 2008 these shares have a market value of £229,200. [Registered 7 June 2007, Amended interest 7 April 2008]

Voluntary:

At the invitation of the Banff & Buchan section of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, I have undertaken driver training and subsequently passed the IaM test. I am therefore now a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists. This is organisationally separate from the IaM Trust which has a campaigning role and regularly works with various Governments and other public bodies. The cost of the training and testing provided would normally be £99. I received no other expenses or benefit in kind as a result of becoming a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
