George Reid addresses the delegation in Committee Room 3 at the Scottish Parliament

A delegation from the John Smith Fellowship programme visited the Scottish Parliament on Thursday 8 June.

The group attended a question and answer session with MSPs, chaired by Presiding Officer George Reid, and observed First Minister’s question time.

The Fellowship programme was established in 1996 and aims to strengthen democratic awareness.

It is run in partnership by the John Smith Memorial Trust, the British Council, and the Department for Constitutional Affairs.

Participating countries include Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia and Moldova.
