Parliament welcomes British Council visitors

British Council representatives visited the Scottish Parliament on Monday 23 October 2006
for an event aimed at building ties between Scotland and the countries of
Northern and Central Europe.

Deputy Director of the British Council Martin Davidson
and Director of British Council Scotland Roy Cross were among the guests at the event.
Founded in the 1930s, the British Council has offices in 110 countries worldwide, working to promote educational opportunities and cultural relations.
British Council Scotland was a partner in the "Our Voice on Europe" Youth Forum held at Holyrood earlier this year.
