'Our Voice on Europe' Youth Forum at Holyrood
Sunday 7 and Monday 8 May 2006
Young people from across Scotland took the opportunity to have their say on Europe at a special Youth Forum at the Scottish Parliament.
Following applications from every region of Scotland, eight schools were selected at random to join the 'Our Voice on Europe' event in May.

The event was organised by the Scottish Parliament in partnership with the Scottish Executive, European Commission Office in Scotland, European Parliament Office in Scotland and British Council Scotland.
The participating schools outlined below why they applied to take part in the Youth Forum, and what they hope to gain from the experience.

The students took part in a series of workshops and debates, designed to encourage involvement in European issues, and provide a space for young people to influence policy makers.
A Youth Forum summary report will be prepared after the event and used by the key stakeholders in a variety of ways to feed into the wider European debate.
