The meeting opened at 10.00 am.
1. Inquiry into the transposition of EU directives: The Committee took evidence from—
Calum MacDonald, Director of Environmental and Organisational Strategy and Rob Morris, Better Regulation Manager, SEPA; and
Bill Adamson, Branch Head, Strategic Policy & Consumer Engagement, Food Standards Agency, Scotland
2. European Commission’s Legislative and Work Programme: The Committee considered and agreed a paper from the clerk.
3. Inquiry into international development: The Committee considered and agreed a paper from the clerk.
4. Services Directive: The Committee considered correspondence from the Scottish Government and agreed to carry out a short inquiry.
The meeting closed at 11.23 am.
