The Committee reports to the Parliament as follows—

1. At its meeting on 8 October 2008, the Health and Sport Committee considered the draft Mental Health (England and Wales Cross-border transfer: patients subject to requirements other than detention) (Scotland) Regulations 2008. The instrument was laid on 10 September 2008 and is subject to affirmative procedure.

2. Shona Robison MSP (Minister for Public Health) moved motion S3M-2563—

That the Health and Sport Committee recommends that the draft Mental Health (England and Wales Cross-border transfer: patients subject to requirements other than detention) (Scotland) Regulations 2008 be approved.
