Linked Libraries
In addition to the network of Partner Libraries, the Scottish Parliament has established a number of ‘Linked Libraries’.

Linked Libraries are library and information services run by external organisations, which service specific communities of interest. There are currently three Linked Libraries: Glasgow Women’s Library (www.womens-library.org.uk); Sabhal Mòr Ostaig (www.smo.uhi.ac.uk), the Gaelic FE College in Skye; and Partick public library in Glasgow, which aims to serve the needs of Gaelic speakers and learners in the city.

Linked Libraries receive a number of core support services from the Parliament, including: monthly research briefing updates, enquiry support, and opportunities for staff training and development.

By establishing and supporting Linked Libraries, the Parliament is demonstrating its commitment to serve the information needs of everyone across society. If you would like more information about Linked Libraries, please contact the library concerned directly, or contact the Scottish Parliament on 0131 348 5000.
