Enquiries
The Public Information Service is an impartial service which can provide information on the Scottish Parliament, its membership, business and procedures.
We cannot offer legal advice or deal with enquiries about implementing or interpreting legislation. We are also unable to offer opinions or undertake extensive research. Enquiries about legislation and about government policy should be directed to the relevant Scottish Government or UK government department.
Similarly, enquiries about the policies of political parties, past and present, should be directed to the relevant political party.
Please note that the Public Information Service does not circulate emails to MSPs or forward correspondence to external organisations. A list of email addresses for MSPs can be found in the fact sheets section of our website.
